I am Chang-Shanmei, an Assistant Professor in the Interdisciplinary Program of Technology and Humanities at National Tsing Hua University. My research focuses on problematic internet use, gaming motivation, adolescent mental health, and digital behavior. Drawing on education, psychology, and psychiatric nursing, I use longitudinal studies, eye tracking, surveys, and qualitative interviews to examine how online experiences and gaming relate to stress, depression, self-harm, and social interaction among adolescents. I am particularly interested in the pathways and characteristics of higher-risk users and in translating evidence into prevention and intervention. My work has appeared in international journals including Computers in Human Behavior and Computers & Education and has been supported by Taiwan’s National Science and Technology Council. I welcome opportunities for exchange and collaboration in digital behavior, mental health, and educational technology.
